Having ridden home with no problems, I found my tyre flat when I got the bike out the next day.

This is what I found when I took the tyre off the rim. Amazingly this large blunt piece of wire had been driven through the Kevlar belting. I blame the pun*ture fairy for this. I think it was the Overnight Visitor who paid me a little visit.
